Festival of the Cranes

A weekend at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge during the Festival of the Cranes.

The dance...	I love watching sandhill cranes fly...		Their landings are not quite as graceful.
Touchdown!	Yeah, there were a few snow geese too...
Lens envy...	Red-winged blackbirds, a lot of them...	I spot just one male yellow-headed blackbird in there... ...	Watch out!
	Northern Harrier coming at ya...	Where is the air traffic controller?
	The festival also has a lot of informative booths.	Lots of cool stuff for the kids too...	Hawk's Aloft brought their educational birds.
This poor red tail hawk was shot by some jerk. It will...	Coyotes hunting in the distance...		Sunset is coming.
At sunset is the fly-in when all the birds congregate in...	There was a nice full moon rising too.	Sunset at Bosque del Apache...
