| Unfortunately, about 22 miles in I got hit by a big storm and the road instantly turned to a clay slick! This hill in this photo I slid down totally out of control. I sat at the bottom of the hill waiting for the rain to subside when this group of folks came up the road and got stuck. I ended up turning around and driving back up. It was easier to control going up. I then helped these vehicles get up the hill. That took about an hour to get 2 Subarus, a Ford truck, and a Sequoia up the hill. Another storm was hitting so I opted to turn back. At this point the truck was a mess and I was covered in mud. | |
